Pennies for PJs
The winning teacher for the 2008 Carnival year was MS. PATRICK! She was awarded the money that her class collected AND... SHE WORE HER PJs TO SCHOOL ON APRIL 11th!

Volunteers Needed
WE NEED YOU!!!
There are MANY time slots
available. PLEASE consider working during one of the
unfilled shifts. CLICK HEREto see the volunteer form. The
Shenandoah Spring Carnival will be a success only with the help of
volunteers. We will ask all parents to plan to work at least one 2 1/2
hour shift sometime during the weekend of MAY 1-3.
Without your support and willingness to work a shift, this event would not be
possible. It is the largest PTA fundraiser and generates
over 50% of our operating budget each year. It is a wonderful school and
community event. The children and parents look forward to it every year!

Silent Auction Donations
Classroom Gift Baskets will be auctioned in our Silent Auction. These baskets consist of donated items from our parents. Each classroom has a theme. When students bring items to school, their name will be entered in a drawing for 10 gamebooth tickets. There will be one winner from EACH class!
Also, for the basket that brings in the most money from Silent Auction, the teacher will receive 100% of the purchase price to ab used for her classroom! Other prizes will be given to top money-bringing baskets.
Attention Companies!! We need donated items from companies for our Silent Auction. All items are tax deductible.

Friday Night Catfish Dinners
Once you start smelling these delicious catfish dinners being cooked at the carnival, you're going to wish you had ordered one!!

Discounted Ride Tickets
Discounted ride tickets are 75 cents each. They will be on sale throught the school until Friday, May 1. After that, all ride tickets must be purchased through Cajun Rides during carnival hours for $1.00 each. Some rides require more $1.00 tickets than the 75 cent tickets! Confetti Eggs
Please keep sending in your cleaned egg shells for Carnival Confetti Eggs. Label the carton with your child's name and teacher's name. We need volunteers to help stuff confetti into these cleaned egg shells! Please volunteer by contacting Jennifer Schneider at kevjen@cox.net or 752-9870.

Raffle Tickets
Selling raffle tickets is a great way to earn money for our school AND win great prizes! Click here for the RAFFLE TICKET order form. A parent must sign this form to get raffle tickets to sell. The prizes are listed below:

All ticket stubs, money, and unsold raffle tickets need to be turned in by Thursday, April 30th.
