In Language Arts we have been working on many skills: rhyming words, opposites, classifying and categorizing, measurement and position words. Whenever predecodable books go home, please read over them with your child. All students should be able to recognize beginning and ending consonant sounds as well as long and short vowel sounds. Please continue to listen to your child read their guided reading book dailly.

You may eat lunch with your child any day of the week except for holiday dinner days. If you want to eat a lunch from the cafeteria you must give the cafeteria manager a 24 hour notice. We go to lunch at around 12:20.
